AI Search is the AI-engine analogue of SERP. Send a prompt and pick which engines to query; get back each engine's response in a normalised structure — the answer text, the sources cited, and (when the engine returns one) the rank-like positions of those sources.
Use it as the underlying primitive for AI-engine rank tracking, share-of-voice measurement across engines, and content-strategy signals about how AI systems actually answer.
